Clayton Road Custom

Project: Full-service project management, exterior and interior selections, interior design and styling of a new build, custom home located in Frontenac, MO.

Inspiration: A glamorous play on family-friendly living. Mixture of modern and vintage with bold pops of color, pattern, and fun.

The Client: A custom home builder (who just so happened to build this house!), his business executive wife, their two children and two bulldogs.

What We Love:

• Intricate millwork, crown molding, doors and trim throughout. Imported marble fireplace mantle.
• Custom designed graphic foyer floor pattern installed with hand cut marble.  
• Library bookcases in the dining room layered with vintage barware, literature and curiosities.
• Custom designed and manufactured brass and stainless steel range hood punctuating the full slab Danby marble backsplash. 
• Mix of modern and vintage lighting throughout.
• Graphic and unisex Jack and Jill bathroom shared by the young children.

What We Did:

• Worked directly with the carpenter to design and oversee installation of all architectural elements including custom bookcases and marble mantle.
• Created a comprehensive interior design plan including architectural elements, lighting, paint, furniture, art, and accessories.
• Worked directly with seamstress to design, manufacture, and install window treatments and reupholster antique chair.
• Worked directly with client to curate art collection.
• Overall styling and accessorizing.
